How does the asynchronous video interview work?

The asynchronous video interview is an opportunity for you to showcase your motivation, vision, and leadership approach. It allows you to record your responses to pre-set questions at your convenience. You will receive a link to the XInterview platform, where you can share your motivation and insights about yourself.

In this video interview, you will be asked to respond to three key questions aimed at understanding your fit for this critical leadership role:

1. What motivates you to lead an organization like FEDIAF, representing the European pet food industry? How does this align with your personal values and career goals?

2. In your view, what are the key regulatory or political challenges facing the European pet food industry in the coming years? How would you position FEDIAF to address these challenges effectively?

3. FEDIAF has a diverse membership base across Europe. How would you foster collaboration and ensure value for all members, considering their differing priorities and needs?

3. 1. Preparation: For each question, you’ll have 2 minutes of thinking time before recording begins automatically.

   2. Recording: You’ll have up to 2 minutes to record your answer for each question.

   3. Review and Retakes: After recording each response, you’ll have the opportunity to review your answer. If needed, you may retake your response up to three times before moving on to the next question.

Who is managing the recruitment process?

The recruitment process is managed by Novya's independent recruitment team. Novya is a consulting platform based in Brussels that specializes in serving European impact-driven organizations. They will handle your application and data processing.

How is my data processed and protected?

Novya will process your personal data, contact data, your CV, self-assessment responses, and reference contacts, in compliance with GDPR. Your data will be used solely for evaluating your application, conducting interviews, and verifying references. We take your privacy seriously and ensure that your information is securely managed throughout the recruitment process.

What happens after I submit my application?

After submitting your application, long-listed candidates will be invited for a live online interview with a Novya recruiter. Short-listed candidates will undergo further interviews with the FEDIAF panel and may connect with the Secretariat team.

Can I contact FEDIAF members during the recruitment process?

To ensure a fair process, we ask that you do not contact any FEDIAF executive committee, board, or secretariat members with the intention to influence before the final interview stage is completed.
