Summary/Objective
Responsible for handling the day to day technical support of our employees, including information systems, networks, upgrading/installing hardware and software, and performing troubleshooting. Manage back up data and network/cybersecurity. Assist in the creation, update, and maintenance of relevant IT and cybersecurity policies and procedures, to include CMMC compliance. SaaS administration for business tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft product suite, Smartsheets, and more.
Essential Functions
Lead IT onboarding process by purchasing necessary hardware, computer configuration, setup, distribution, and maintenance. Providing IT orientation to new hires when needed, creating accounts, new licenses, etc.,
Administer, manage, and maintain the Google Workspace enterprise such as email address and email group administration.
Administer other SaaS applications to ensure all company departments are utilizing them at their fullest potential, while providing recommendations for other application options to improve efficiencies or meet employee needs,
Facilitate company rollout of custom solutions that integrate Google Workspace functionality and work productivity,
Manage company Saas licenses and vendor relationships.
Create project scope and lead execution of asset and network laptop configuration for CMMC and IT policy compliance,
Assist in the creation and implementation of IT policies and procedures,
Participate in IT/cybersecurity audits by consultants or experts,
Lead the onboarding and implementation of new vendors, applications, current enhancements throughout the corporate team.
Escalate support issues to vendors when can not be resolved internally, follow up and resolve them in a timely manner.
Actively participate in training or writing IT articles for the company newsletter about cybersecurity, distribute IT knowledge, current trends, etc. such as phishing, scams, and virus protection,
Build relationships with each department to fully understand their IT needs, recommend or create IT efficiencies, facilitate areas of mechanization, or improvements where identified.
Provide specialized training on SaaS applications or cloud-based programs to ensure employees understand the full capabilities of these tools and incorporate them into their day-to-day,
Focus on IT service optimization and automation for corporate teams,
Answer promptly to company chats, phone calls, or email requests for IT assistance or support needs,
Oversee email retention activities to comply with applicable regulations and retention requirements, and
Manage company website, including updates.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar degree. 2-4 years of experience in an IT administrator role, managing company cloud-based applications, computer licenses, and help desk responsibilities. Must be familiar with Google Workspace. Strong knowledge and experience handling Google Admin console, Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets and Slides and related issues. Experience working with a DoD contractor is preferred, and/or familiarity with CMMC compliance. Experience troubleshooting and working with vendors to resolve a wide range of IT issues. Experience and familiarity with Microsoft suite products, to include Teams.
Work Environment, Programs, and Tools
This position operates remotely where the individual can create a safe and productive office environment. Requires an individual to frequently sit, stand, walk, use hands/fingers to type, talk, and listen. May bend, lift, crouch, and kneel. Required knowledge of the following tools, equipment, and programs includes: computer, printer, copier, scanners, Google Workspace, Microsoft product suite. Preferred familiarity with Smartsheets and Dialpad (or other cloud-based phone system).
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position is a full time hourly non-exempt position, expected to work 40 hours a week. This position may require evening/weekend work depending on the IT support needs of our workforce.
Travel
Must be willing and able to travel for a short period of time, no more than 10% annually. Travel may occur to support an audit, computer configuration, or special company projects.
Security Clearance
Currently has a Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
