Dear ND Families,

Due to travel restrictions and health emergency concerns, NDXL 2020 travel courses are postponed. Options for rescheduling and potential reimbursement/refunds are in the discussion phase and will be communicated to families as soon as more information is available. This decision was not made lightly and had to consider the potential for a mandatory 14 day quarantine while away. This and the risk travelers would see while traveling was too much to allow travel during NDXL.

At this time we are within the 35 day window which does not allow refunds, whether travel insured or not. Grand Classroom is discussing how they will move forward to best support school groups during this unique and unprecedented time. They currently are following the CDC and State Department guidelines on travel and cannot amend their policies at this time. Rescheduling would incur some rebooking costs but is a potential option. Any families with additional questions may reach out to Grand Classroom, but at this time our decision is to postpone and potentially reschedule.

As the Director of Experiential Learning at Notre Dame I am devastated for our students and families and will do everything in my abilities to ease the burden on families to gain the best outcome for all.
