Welcome to Rowayton Elementary School's Learning Commons!
OUR LIBRARY at Rowayton Elementary School is quickly becoming the hub of the building. OUR GOAL is to instill a love of learning, inspire life-long learning, foster independent library use and create a culture of the 4 C's - collaboration, communication, critical thinking and creativity. Students visit once every 4 days and rotate between a traditional library class that includes book check out and learning information literacy skills and a makerspace library class that includes hands-on STEM activities and digital citizenship skills. The library is evolving at a rapid rate into one that every student, every staff member and every parent can be proud of.
