ENgLish Language arts (ELA)

Language Arts Overview:

Our reading program consists of stories found in our Reading Street program. Students will be exposed to various strategies to aid in their comprehension of both fictional and informational texts. Students will also engage in vocabulary development through a variety of approaches.

In writing, students will grow in their writing of formal narrative writing, informational essays, and opinion pieces. Core Sitton spelling words will be assessed through student work.
