I am the AIS (Academic Interventions Services) teacher here at the remote academy, working with Kindergarten-6th grade. I play a pivotal role in supporting students’ educational journey. This involves providing assistance by pushing into Remote Academy classes to facilitate small group instruction. In addition, I also provide instruction to students who are out due to quarantine, medical leaves, and out of school suspension, ensuring continuity in their learning despite challenging circumstances. My commitment lies in fostering a supportive environment where each student can thrive academically, regardless of the obstacles they may face.
During your child’s quarantine, I will be in contact with their teachers regarding work from your child's time off of in person school. Their teachers will provide any lessons and work for students to complete throughout their time at the Remote Academy.
In our Remote Academy, AIS support is essential for targeting individual learning needs. Through one-on-one or small group sessions, I am able to utilize digital tools and reinforce concepts covered. Close collaboration with our classroom teachers ensures tailored support for students who may require additional assistance in our Remote Academy.
