Josefina Achaval  (ON 2002)

Actress & Singer. She was formed by prestigious teachers in Argentina, Los Angeles and London. 

Among other professional credits, Josefina has worked in Netflix series "Go, Vive A Tu Manera" and has been one of the main contestants in reality Show "Operación Triunfo II". She has also been the main singer for National Anthems at international high profile sporting events such as Rugby Championships, Rugby World Cups, Polo Cups Turf and Tennis ATP, Cups, having performed in Stadiums such as The O2 Arena, Tickenham Stadium, Wigan and Luigi Ferraris.  

 Currently  she plays leading roles in Disney shows "Magia & Sinfonia"  and "Disney 100" which have been presented at Teatro Colón and toured around Latin America for the past two years.

He won the only position available at ITBA for an exchange with the University Of Pennsylvania. He studied at Wharton and the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Tomás Fernandez Sasso  (ON 2017)

Northlands Headboy and Nightingale’s Service captain. After graduating  school he worked for a year as a GAP student at a boarding school, Mount St. Mary’s College, in England. 

Driven by his two passions he is currently studying Medicine at CEMIC and works on a personal art project,Letomtomics (@letomtomics) an interactive form of art, with which he has participated in various emerging art exhibitions in Buenos Aires.


Tom sees art as an opportunity to make people think, play and express themselves by making others part of his drawings through interactive questions, hoping he generates a positive impact on people that interact with his art.

Eve Sanchis (ON 2013)

She has a Business degree from UADE with an Accounting specialisation  and is  a skilled coach. She combined her expertise in both fields with her passion for ceramics to create Eve's Pottery.

Her love for signature ceramics drives her to teach workshops all over the world while also producing a collection of unique decorative and utilitarian artisan objects.

Eve's Pottery currently operates in two locations - Madrid, Spain, and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her studios provide a space where students can unleash their creativity to produce unique pieces and enjoy unforgettable moments.

Joaquin Duhalde Longhi (ON 2011)

Dancer & Producer. He was taught by prestigious dance teachers and in the USA at Steps On Broadway and Broadway Dance Center. In 2017, he was given a Scholarship by Gustavo Zajac to study at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Joaquin is a Jazz & Theatre dance Professor at Fundación Julio Bocca, MYC Danza and Estudio Ricky Pashkus. He is also Producer & Stage Manager. He was hired by the Royal Caribbean International Company as Stage Manager for the Ship Mariner of the Seas and was distinguished by his accomplishments. Recently he danced at the TV Show Super Bailando.

She studied Visual Arts with orientation in painting at UMSA and did artistic residences in Bilbao and Florence. This year she exhibited her work at BADA, Centro Cultural Borges, Salon Provincial Molina Campos in La Plata and won the first prize on artistic creation in painting from Universidad de Belgrano.

Studied Publicity at Universidad de Palermo. Post-graduate certificate in International Marketing at European School of Economics in Rome. She did a course in Fashion Design and worked for 3 years on an online store that sold organizational products.  Published her first book with Penguin Random House called OMM Organizarte by Mela M. She also has an Instagram Account with organizational tips that has now 138 thousand followers.

Anne Cutts (ON 1982)

Has an MBA with distinction from Durham University (UK) and a degree in English Literature from Nottingham University (UK). She has over 25 years of service to others.  She was liaison officer for the UN in humanitarian projects in Africa and the Middle East. She started and still directs Hábitat para la Humanidad Argentina, a Christian organization that works through donors and volunteers to provide integral housing solutions to vulnerable families.

Josefina Perez Otero (ON 2005)

Studied Law at Universidad Católica Argentina and has a Masters Degree in International Criminal Law at UCLA School of Law in California, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class. She has worked at different organisms of the Judiciary and at the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, where she advised on issues regarding access to justice for vulnerable population. She is also an assistant teacher for the Department of Criminal Law at the University of Buenos Aires and has been appointed Prosecretaria Letrada at the Tribunal Supremo de Justicia of the City of Buenos Aires.

Maria Munzi (ON 2010)

Studied Photography at Universidad de Palermo where she discovered her passion for storytelling and narrative photography. She specialized at various workshops and won a scholarship at Grisart, Barcelona. Maria works on personal projects about her vision of life. Showing her work in distinctive photography festivals and art fairs in France, Spain, Africa, Chile, Argentina. Winner of Concurso BA Joven at BADA and was also published by FISHEYE Magazine (France) and El Mercurio newspaper (Chile). 

She is represented by Saisho Art Gallery, Madrid.   "I'll be forever grateful for Miss Rochi's Art Classes. She taught us the magic behind the creative process and gave us free space to express ourselves"

Maria Gainza (ON 1985)

Writer and Art Critic. Worked at The New York Times in Buenos Aires, Página 12 and Artforum magazine.  Published in 2011 her book "Textos elegidos" about Argentine art and was awarded Personalidad destacada en el Periodismo Cutural by Konex Foundation. In 2014 she published her first fiction novel "El nervio óptico" with Anagrama and was translated to 15 languages. In 2018 she published her novel "La luz negra" chosen by Diario Perfil as best novel of the year. "I remember my English literature class: 5 teenagers sitting at a round table, the perfume of la Glicina coming through the window and the teacher talking about the use of light and dark in Macbeth. I would pay to relive those days again. "

Constanza Cozzolino (ON 1987)

Clinical Psychologist who earned a scholarship for an exchange at University of Miami. Participated in a training  program conducted through the Neurobehavioural Evaluation and Treatment Program, Department of Neurology at Miami Children´s Hospital, specialized in the care and treatment of children with severe neurobehavioural disorders. She continued her training experience in TEACCH Autism Program at Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Currently, she is Head and Therapeutic Director at a Child and Adolescent Education and Therapy Center, which assists children with autism spectrum disorders.

Florencia Donovan (ON 1997)

Studied Social Communications at Austral University and did Finance and Economy courses in IAE, FIEL & University of Columbia. She won the Chevening Scholarship. Editor in Infobae, Cronista Comercial and La Nacion. Currently writing economic articles for La Nación, participates in TV Show Somos Nosotros for LN+ and in Intratables for America TV. Has her own radio show "Paga el que sigue" for FM Milenium on Sundays.

Noel Zemborain (ON 1994)

Studied Social Communications and has a Master's degree in Marketing from ESADE (Barcelona) and NGO Management from San Andrés. She worked at Oxfam and in the Social Innovation Center at Universidad de San Andres. In 2015, together with her husband and four children, she spent a year travelling from Buenos Aires to Boston. She then worked for the National Ministry of Education and is now the Executive Director of Junior Achievement Argentina, a global education organization that runs programs on entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness. Her aim is to become a strong advocate for innovation in education. In 2019 she was awarded the Eisenhower Fellowship. "I cherish the memories of my happy days at Northlands and I'm thankful for great takeaways: my passion for learning, my love for sports and my best friends."

Participated with his team in the J.P. Morgan Hackathon "Code for Good". Found a solution  for NGO Junior Achievement by using Al and Machine Learning.

Evelyn Fishburn (ON 1954)

Studied at the University of Geneva and at University College London, where she graduated with a First Class Honours degree, obtained her PhD, and is now Honorary Professor. She is also Professor Emeritus of London Metropolitan University. Evelyn works mainly on the writings of Jorge Luis Borges. She also specialises in humour in Latin American literature and on women’s writings. Her publications include Hidden Pleasures in Borges’s Fiction, (University of Pittsburgh, 2015), A Borges Dictionary (in collaboration with Psiche Hughes), London, 1990, Borges and Europe Revisited (edited, London, 1998) and numerous articles and chapters in edited books on Borges.

Plastic Artist, Founder & President of One By One, NGO in Rio de Janeiro that gives movility to low income children with different neurological pathologies. They have donated 950 wheelchairs and have been focusing on stimulation through art and literacy. Also providing digital tools to prepare young people for the current labour market.

Studied Medicine at UBA with honours. Her residency was in General Surgery at Hospital Italiano. Specialized in Plastic Surgery at Hospital Garrahan and had a year scholarship in craniomaxillofacial surgery. Currently working in a team of Children's Plastic & Craniofacial Surgery in the private sector. Member of the Sociedad Argentina de Ortodoncia where she works with patients of low income with cleft lip alveolus palatine to give them treatment. Preparing 3 presentations for the World Congress in Craniofacial Surgery being held this year in Paris.

Hockey Player for Las Leonas since 1997 until 2008. Graduated as Dentist in 2001 at Universidad del Salvador. 3 Olympic Medals (Sydney 2000, Athens 2004 & Beijing 2008), 3 World Championships and World Champion in Perth 2002. Currently working at SportsCenter ESPN as presenter & Hockey commentator. She also did press coverage for Hockey World Championships and 2 Olympic Games (London in 2012 and Río in 2016).

Studied International Relations at Universidad de San Andrés. Due to her thesis she was contacted to work as Public Information Consultant in 2017 for ACNUR (ONU Agency for refugees in Panamá). She worked for a year with refugees that run from violence, poverty and gangs & in the elaboration of international treaties. Still working for ACNUR in Argentina, also graduated with a Masters in Journalism at DiTella University/La Nación. She currently writes articles for La Nación about the Crisis in Venezuela.

Gail Scriven (ON 1983)

Studied Journalism at the Instituto Grafotécnico, Escuela Superior de Periodismo, and International Affairs at Flacso. Assistant Managing Editor at La Nación. She joined the newspaper in 1998 after working for over 10 years as Editor of the Foreign News Desk in Ámbito Financiero. She was also Editor of the Foreign News Desk for several years in La Nación before being promoted to her present position.

Mary Ingouville Burton (ON 1956)

Having moved to Cape Town in 1961, she became involved in anti-apartheid activities, mainly in an organisation of women called the Black Sash.  It opposed the injustices of racial discrimination, forced removal of people, detention without trial, and the “pass laws” which controlled the movement of black South Africans. President Mandela was elected in 1994 and established the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) and Mary was appointed as one of the 17 Commissioners. She has written two books, one about the Black Sash, the other about the TRC.

Currently working at Secretaría de Relaciones Económicas Internacionales del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores y Culto de la Nación.

Martina Salaber (ON 1981)

Today Sister Mary Trinity of the Schoenstatt Sisters. Passionate sportswoman, practiced Tennis, Golf, Paddle, Ski and Water Ski. She graduated as Psicopedagoga in 1987 and in 1988 left everything to answer God's call and started her novitiate with the Sisters of Mary in Schoenstatt. Today, after 30 years, she claims to have "the greatest joy in life, discovering every day that the gift of God is infinite and his kindness is never-ending".

Michelle Leclercq (ON 2012)

Studied in Los Angeles College of Music  and graduated with a degree in Vocal performance. Two of her songs reached number 1 in Itunes Argentina. She sang the Argentine Hymn on Thursday 28 March at Manu Ginobili's retirement ceremony in San Antonio Texas. Gibson Musical Instruments lent her all the instruments for the show.

Created a Foundation called APYRE (Apoyo y Rehabilitación A.C.) for children with multiple and severe disabilities which currently has 130 children. Studying Medicine at Universidad Anáhuac in Mexico and hopes in the future to investigate, do a Masters in Hospital administration and give what she can to improve patient care or palliative care.

Studying a bachelors degree in Popular Music at the Royal Northern College of Music with a 50% scholarship awarded for talent and academic excellence. Josefina is currently releasing her first album “Natural Love”  written by her and produced by Tee Soulful.  She performed her song “Blue” as a preview for a selected audience of 800 people in October 2018. Josefina would "love to show everyone how amazing it is to study art and that no one should be scared to follow their dreams".

Luz Escobar (ON 2005)

Studied "Dirección de Fotografía y Cámara para Cine" & "Dirección de Cine, Tv y Nuevos Medios" with a grade point average above 9. Nominated for her work as Director in Photography in “Caer del Tiempo” from Ian Quintana at the “Salón Internacional de la Luz” in Colombia and at the “Grandoff World Independent Short Film Awards” in Poland. Her 2 short documentaries “En Tus Ojos” & “Crisálida”, were she Directed and did the Photography, participated in international festivals such as Festival ADF (Autores de Fotografía Cinematográfica) and in MUA - Mujeres Audiovisuales. “Crisálida” was seen at the MALBA Festival “30 Años de La Mujer y El Cine” in 2018. Currently in Madrid with a Scholarship for "Master en Dirección de Fotografía y Cámara para Cine y Nuevos Medios" at Transforming Arts Institute.

Doctor from UBA, specialist in Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine. Sub-discipline of amputated patients. Co-founder of ISPO filial Argentina and  Amputados Sin Fronteras.  Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (UBA).  Was Head of Rehabilitation in the British Hospital. Coordinator of a training course for teachers in orthosis and prosthesis in Cambodia (2004). Member of the International Experts Committee in Diabetic foot and ISPO Amputees.

Studying Aerospace Engineering at Embry-Riddle University in Daytona Beach with 2 Scholarships. One is a 50% Scholarship for joining the Tennis Team and another one is called "Women of Excellence" acknowledging her academic results. She will be training 6 times a week with the Tennis Team and competing in the United States. Maria's final objective in the future, is getting into NASA.

Clara Green (ON 2006)

Studied Communications at UBA with orientation in Planning & Policies. Worked in the communications team for the Government of the City of Buenos Aires in the presidential electoral campaign in 2015. Worked as Press Officer for a Representative in the National Congress. In 2017 she got a Scholarship to participate in a seminar of Branding and Campaigning for Political Parties in Germany. She is the Content Coordinator for Aerolíneas Argentinas.

Alexia Rattazzi (ON 1993)

Studied Medicine at Favaloro University and did her psychiatric residency at the “Dr. Ricardo Gutiérrez” Children's Hospital. Investigative fellowship on Autism at the California Davis University in USA. In 2012 she founded PANAACEA, a Non profit organization dedicated to improve the quality of life for people with autism and for their families. In 2018 she was declared by the Legislatura of the City of Buenos Aires "Personalidad Destacada en el ámbito de las Ciencias Médicas".

Marina Simian (ON 1989)

Studied Biologial Sciences at UBA and her PhD at Berkeley, California. She is currently a researcher from Conicet in the Nanosystem Institute of Universidad Nacional de San Martín. She leads the Nanobiology group focused on developing new therapeutic strategies. Their specialty is breast Cancer and their work is financed by private and public entities in Argentina, USA and Europe.

Juan Ridolfi (ON 2013)

Artistic Coordinator of "Proyecto Persiana" where they seek to revalue urban art, provide opportunities for emerging artists and to embellish the City of Buenos Aires by painting different murals. He coordinated 9 urban art festivals with the participation of 50 muralists and graffiti artists. Worked with Missing Children for a campaign that involved different artists painting missing children on the 10 most visible murals in the city. He chose to paint the face of Joaquin Sanchez Trangoni. 3 weeks later, Joaquin was found.

Vanessa Brizuela (ON 1994)

Psicologist from UBA. Masters in Health Education (2005) from Columbia University. Has a PhD in Public Health (2018) from Harvard University. At the moment she is living in Geneva, working as a consultant for the World Health Organization (WHO) on a global maternal sepsis study and in sexual and reproductive health research capacity strengthening.

Maria Josefina Sanchez (ON 2002)

Graduated in 2009 from the medical school of Favaloro University and passed the United States Medical Licensing Examinations. She started working as a consultant in the National Congenital Heart Disease Programme, funded by the World Bank. In 2014 she completed a Master’s Degree in International Affairs at UBA's  Law School. In 2016 she finished her pediatric residency at Juan A Fernandez Hospital and moved to Dallas, Texas to start her second pediatric residency at the University of Texas Southwestern, Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. In 2019 she will be getting the American Board of Pediatrics Certification and will be applying for a pediatric cardiology fellowship position.

Worked at the Institute of Transportation and Development Policies for 3 years and then won the Chevening Scholarship to study a Masters in Urban Design in the London School of Economics. Worked for a year in PUBLICA, an urban design firm in the UK and is now working independently in London as an Architect.

Worked in a project of educational policies in India and founded the Student Embassy Ambassador Programme, to enrich relationships between the University and the Diplomatic Corps in the Arab Emirates with students of 109 nationalities. Will be working as Staff Manager in English Adventure, organization engaged in the personal and intelectual development of students in Japan.

Professional Sailor. Represented Argentina in 6 world and 2 South American Championships. He is a South American Champion and was ranked #5 in the world in 2015. First position at the race from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro in 2017. Studying Mechanical Engineering at ITBA.

Dulce Lamarca (ON 2010)

In 2017 she graduated with honours as Professor of Visual Arts with a major in Painting at Regina Espacio de Arte. She ranked #2 in her class with a grade point average of 9.33. She moved to New York to pursue a Master in Fine Arts and was admitted to the Parsons School of Design, SVA (the School of Visual Arts of New York) and ICP (International Center of Photography). She was awarded a full merit-based Scholarship both at SVA & ICP. She decided on the former's Master in Fine Arts. Currently, she explores ways to merge two of her passions:  visual arts and music, in particular the cello (instrument she learned to play at Northlands).

Barbara won a Scholarship for Architecture at Di Tella University thanks to her grade point average marks at School and her excellent admission essay and interview. Nicolas is studying Industrial Engineering at Austral University thanks to a Scholarship awarded for high grade point average.

Mariana Jacobs (ON 1993)

Psychologist specialized in palliative care, and Psycho-Oncology. Was board member for the AAMP and head of Psycho-Oncology at Hospital Aleman. Current Board Member of NGO Paliativa and Coordinator for Red Federal de Cronicidad Avanzada y Atención Paliativa.  Worked in private clinics in USA and volunteered for Mother Teresa´s Missionaries of Charity in India.  Her first book with Penguin Random House "Lo que me enseñaron mis pacientes antes de morir"  is already out.

Studied Political Science and International Relations at UCA. Master degree in International Economy from Johns Hopkins University (Washington D.C). Worked 4 years at World Bank. In 2005 started working at UN in New York where she excels as an Evaluation Adviser in the areas of sexual health, reproduction, population, gender and human rights.

She studied Physics at UBA.  She completed her PhD this March 2018 at UBA with the help of a CONICET scholarship. Her investigation was based on the development and study of quantum communication protocols with outstanding results.

Mariana Botta Grella (ON 2011)

Public Translator (UCA). Studied to teach Violin and to be a vocal coach. In 2016 started teaching Violin and IGCSE Singing at NORTHLANDS. In 2017 she was invited to Austria to sing and play the Violin in the concert of a famous Italian Tenor in Viena. Currently studying to become an English Teacher.

Bachelor of arts in Language and Master in Corporate Communication. She has a Postgraduate degree in Gestalt Psychology. She is a Writer, Consultant and Group Facilitator specialized in Talent Development. Coordinates workshops for women to support their talent development. Author of 6 books exploring the female universe in all its dimensions. Working in Global Foundation and Vital Voices, where she coaches young women in the development of their careers.

Ines Pereyra Iraola (ON 1988)

Primary Deputy Head in Nordelta. She obtained her Primary Teaching Degree in English Language in Asociación Argentina de Cultura Inglesa (AACI). Her teaching career began in 1989 at NORTHLANDS, Olivos, in Years 1 & 3. She participated in various IB PYP Workshops along these years. As from 2006 she started working at NORTHLANDS Nordelta, teaching in different levels and is currently in Year 6.

Nicole Aberg Cobo (ON 2011)

She is the author of the book "Mitad Ella, Mitad Yo" where she recounts her experiences in the fight against Cerebral Palsy with which she was born and with Lupus Disease that she contracted as a teenager. She presented her book in the Legislatura Porteña and today is an inspiration for everyone living similar situations.

She is a Graphic Designer and Illustrator from UBA and Rhode Island School of Design, USA. Illustrated books for publishing houses and clients in USA, Italy, England, Spain, Perú and Argentina:

- The 7 covers of the Harry Potter series for Salamandra Editorial in Spain.

- Ragazzi Bible for Edizioni Messaggero Padova (Italy).

- The first educational program in Spanish for Dyslexic children, including all the books and handbooks.

Victoria Schwartz (ON 2012)

Graduated in Industrial and Systems Engineering from University of Southern California, Summa Cum Laude and Outstanding student of the year. She also graduated as Private Pilot from Santa Monica Airport while studying Industrial Engineering.  Victoria worked in an aviation company called Aviation Portfolio and also at Microsoft as Supply Chain Intern. Currently working full time for Microsoft.

Maria Peverelli (ON 2006)

Finished her MBA from Duke University in North Carolina with a Supportive Ambition award and a Dean’s Recognition Award. The first award is related to the values of Friendship and Service. Awarded to the student who supports other students achieve their potential. The second award acknowledges students who, according to peers, faculty and the Dean, best represent the traditions of student service. María is now working in Apple, California as Supply Chain Manager.

Valentina Litman (ON 2011)

She is the first sommelier in a restaurant awarded with three Michelin stars. Wine management at the Martin Berasategui establishment in Spain. Valentina began her training at the Argentine Institute of Gastronomy and later at Argentinian Center for Wines and Spirits.  She has two Masters at The Wine and Spirit Education Trust and at the Court of Master Sommelier (UK).

Served as President of "Asociación Amigos del Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes" and Vicepresident of the Colón Theatre´s Foundation Administrative Committee. Member of the International Committee of the Musée d'Orsay Friends Society (Paris). Member of the International Council of the MOMA in NY.  Member of the National Academy of Fine Arts. Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters (1994) and Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters (2004), granted by the French Government . Benefactor of the Onco-Hematological research Lab "Nelly Arrieta de Blaquier". In 2009 she was named Cultural Ambassador of the City of Buenos Aires.

Valentina Sielecki (ON 2004)

She studied medicine at CEMIC. In Madrid she worked for Chemo, a pharmaceutical company. In 2014 she began her residency in general surgery at CEMIC and founded Rockcycle: the new trend in physical activity that combines music, fragances and indoor cyclying.

Alice Penn (ON 1983)

Author, Director, Actress, Singer and Drama Teacher. Wrote the script and lyrics of Billy The Kid, Pirate Legend, Eliot Ness and Marco Polo (this year at the Maipo). Founder of The Group, later The Stage Company. Nominated for an ACE Award; her adaptation of Midsummer Night´s Dream, was nominated for 2 Hugo Awards.

She is a Doctor, specialized in cosmetic and orthomolecular medicine from CEMIC University. She completed a Postgraduate Degree in Nutrition and Ayurvedic Medicine. Holistic nutrition and Fitness Coach.  In 2017 she published her first book "Nutrición Holística", already a hit.

English teacher since 1977. Founding member of Northlands Olivos Kindergarten. Helped Integrating the Bilingual Programme in Northlands Olivos Primary. Head of Primary in charge of the opening of Northlands Nordelta Primary and the successful implementation of the IBPYP.

Monica Cahen D'Anvers (ON 1951)

Journalist, former actress and TV presenter.  She studied at Cambridge University.  She won the Konex award in 1981 and 1987, and 25 Martín Fierro awards for her work in journalism.

Ines Berton (ON 1990)

Worked at the Guggenheim Museum where she mixed perfumes and created tea blends.  She studied in New York the development of her smell with a Japanese, Fumiko, her great teacher. Ines has an absolute sense of smell. In 2001 she founded Tealosophy and in 2017 created the Northlands Blend, inspired in her School.

Journalist from La Nación.  New York Observer Fellowship from NYU and Wolfson Press Fellowship from Cambridge. Her articles are published in Vanity Fair, Vogue, Condé Nast Traveler, GQ and El País.  Her first book, English Breakfast, was declared as a "must have" by (Newsweek).

Iris Odstrcil (ON 2005)

Graduated with honours from Harvard in 2010 with an A.B. and in 2017 with a Ph.D. both in the field of Molecular & Cellular Biology. Hoopes Prize for outstanding thesis. Her research on the neuronal basis of behavior was published in the Journal Nature. "My beloved Northlands School: I carry ‘Friendship & Service’ in my heart. In this school, I have made the strongest friendships I know and which I hold dearest."

Luciano Manfredi (ON 2013)

Is pursuing a double degree in Physics and Pure Mathematics at Loyola Marymount University (LMU).  His career goal is to contribute to the current understanding of nature, and comprehend what does quantum gravity tell us about Black Holes and the universe. So far he has completed three research projects.  Luciano is a Teaching Assistant for both the Physics and Math departments, works as a Student Liaison for the Center for Student Success and was elected as Treasurer for Student Government.

Veronica Taube (ON 1994)

Veronica Taube is a Psicopedagoga who during her time at School was dyslexic and received help from both our teachers, Eleonora Mastronardi and Marcela Miró. She has just written a book about a child with dyslexia and both our teachers appear in the story with their real names. Veronica's daughters are current Northlands students.

Marcela Baigros (ON 1998)

Founder and now Director of Civil Society Cero a la derecha. The association aims to promote a communication free of discrimination and stigmatization, generating tools and spaces for dialogue to defy taboos, and collaborate to recognize the “other” as equal with the same human rights that we all have as human beings. In 2016, Marcela promoted the development of the first Human Library in Argentina, an event that seeks to challenge prejudices through dialogue.

Studied Social Communications and has a Master's degree in Journalism from NYU. In 2013 she started working as associate producer in "60 Minutes". In 2016 the show won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Investigative Journalism in a News Magazine.
