Good nutrition is essential for successful learning. Children should bring healthy lunches and should not include chocolate, sweets, soft drinks or other such foods.
We have a Brain Food break at 10.00am each day. Children should have a small piece of fruit, vegetables or nuts that can be easily eaten in class. Morning Tea is at 11.00am and a healthy snack is encouraged. The children eat their lunch at 1.00pm with their class and a supervising teacher. Children are expected to take any uneaten lunch items or rubbish home with them.
