Please note that smart watches are not to be used for anything more than telling time. We are finding that students are becoming very distracted by their smart watches. This is a reminder that cell phones are to be turned off and placed in students' backpacks for the entirety of the day. Therefore, if it is found that a student is using a smart watch for anything more than time telling, they will be directed to remove the smart watch and place it it in their backpacks and/or it will be confiscated, brought to the office, and left for a parent to pick up. If your child wears a watch like this, please have a conversation with them at home about acceptable use of this device and the consequences if these rules are not followed.
