Technology Services is planning for appropriate hardware supports for broken or non-functional devices during this extended closure. A hardware swap program to manage hardware repairs is being developed and will be available by appointment through the Service Desk beginning March 24th.

We have scaled up our available technicians for remote telephone support. Please be patient, as our staff works to find answers and resolutions to your questions and issues in a timely fashion.

Tiger ID

The District has prioritized ease of access to educational technology resources by providing a single-sign-on (SSO) portal to lessen the number of usernames and passwords that students and teachers use on a daily basis. This portal is known as TigerID. The icon above should appear on all District iPads and laptops that will take users to the TigerID login portal located at https://login.northallegheny.org.

All students and employees have been assigned a TigerID and a password. Students should have been logging in and access throughout the school year through the TigerID portal and should be familiar with their username and password. If a student or employee has forgotten their TigerID or password, please contact the Service Desk at servicedesk@northallegheny.org to request a password reset or to obtain their TigerID.

How to Access Online Resources Via TigerID (Think Central, Reflex, Ed Online, Etc.)

Resetting a TigerID Password for a Student

The Technology Service Desk portal has a number of resources that are available to staff, students and families for self-service technical support. You may want to check these resources as your starting point to help resolve common issues.

Access to YouTube on Student iPads

As the teacher, you first need to be sure that you are logged into YouTube with your NA Google account and approve the video you would like students to view. To do this, click the "Approve" button located below the video.

In order to access YouTube videos from home, students need to be sure that they are logged into the Safari app using their NA Google accounts. They are to go to Google.com in Safari, and click "Sign In".

Student NA Google Account Information:

Username: tigerid@nastudents.org

Password: Tiger ID password for grades 3-8, nacubs for grades K-2

After students log in to Safari, they are to then go to YouTube.com and click "Sign in" in the upper right hand corner of the screen. This will prompt them to reenter their NA Google account information to log themselves into YouTube. By doing so, comments and suggested videos will not appear for students, just the video that you would like them to watch.
