Welcome! SITE IS LAUNCHED! Continuing to construct/revise!
This Work-based, service learning experience is designed for 11th & 12th grade students who are interested in a career working with children or in education. Students work side by side with an elementary or junior high school mentor teacher in our district. You may request a specific teacher and/or school where you would like to be placed. However, final placements are made by the building principals.
IF you are enrolled in EDU 213, you ONLY need to complete the application below to assist in your placement, your instructor will communicate any further requirements with you.
If you are NOT in EDU 213 , enrollment in this program is limited and priority is given to students have completed Child Development Classes and/or have documented other volunteer service with children.
Program participants must read and sign the Orientation sheet (below), which outlines program rules and expectations.
