Diversity Statement

Enrolled students in the school district community shall have an equal opportunity for a quality public education without discrimination, regardless of their race, sex, marital status, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity, ability or disability.

Student Rights and Responsibilities

All students of North Scott High School have the right to be respected, to be free of harassment, and to participate in activities provided they meet the requirements. They have the right to a fair hearing on disciplinary matters and to bring their concerns about school matters to the staff and administration of the building. They also have other specific rights as listed in this booklet.

Along with these rights, each student has the responsibility to have respect for all the members of the school community, have pride and loyalty for the school, make constructive use of school facilities, and be responsible for the care of school property and books.

Students are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship and appropriate behavior at all times, to be honest and trustworthy, and to take advantage of all educational opportunities.
