Talented and Gifted Program
Philosophy and Mission Statement
The philosophy of the North Cedar Talented and Gifted Program is to meet the needs of our gifted and talented students academically, socially, and emotionally. We believe that giftedness exists across all demographics regardless of gender, ethnicity, or socioeconomic class and that timely identification and provision of appropriate services and accommodations is vital. All students deserve the opportunity to develop academically every day and, through appropriately challenging work, to discover their talents and fully reach their potential. With collaboration among educators, administrators, and families we strive to ensure sustainable individual growth in our gifted students that will develop into a passion for learning, a sense of social consciousness, and lifelong success.
