The Division of Community Development is pleased to announce selection of four Navajo Nation Priority One firms on May 24 to 25, 2022. The four priority one firms have met the minimum qualification score of 70 points as stated in RFP for The Navajo Nation Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Services for Planning, Architectural, Engineering, and Project Management Support - RFP No. 2022-DCD-02.

Community Development received a total of seven proposals. Three proposals received are from Non-Navajo Priority firms. Upon approval from NNDCD Division Director, a separate date to open Non-Navajo priority proposals will be scheduled, the unopened proposals will remain in secured office space.

With the assistance from the Department of Justice (DOJ), DCD's completed issuing results for IDIQ Evaluations of Qualifications for Firms and completing supplemental administrative checklist review to ensure all documents requested in the RFQ have been received. Firms who fail to provide supplemental documents will be considered non-responsive. The IDIQ Contracts completed 164B administrative review on August 15, 2023. A Notice-to-Proceed meeting was held on August 18, 2023 at Twin Arrows Resort & Casino, where the two of the four firms met and signed the Notice to Proceed. DCD provided each firm with The Navajo Nation American Rescue Plan Act resolution no. CJY-41-21, BFS-31-21, June 6, 2023 U.S. Department of Treasury State local Fiscal Recovery fund handbook including the Appendix 1 category table, CJN-29-22, and assigned Delegate Region Plans (DRP) under Section 3 for 8.8 million per delegate region.
