Digital Learning Basics

Our students need digital citizenship skills to participate fully in their community and make smart choices as they navigate the digital world and life. This site provides grade level lessons and resources to engage students and give them the skills they need to succeed as digital learners, leaders, and citizens.

Hear perspectives from a principal, a technology teacher, and a school counselor about online safety challenges their school has faced (such as students sharing private information) and why they believe teaching about online safety is important.

Hear from Michael Hernandez and mother and son digital citizenship duo Marialice Curran and Curran Dee on how digital citizenship is evolving. They share they're observations, inspiration, and some ideas for how to build digital citizenship and media literacy skills by focusing on some of the "do's" rather than the "don't's".
