Coach T

Welcome to the best year of your education in NLR! My name is Tina Tennison, but most just call me Coach T! I graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a Bachelors in Physical Education and a Masters of Education with an emphasis in Physical Education. I am beginning my 16th year in education, with 14 of those years in NLR. I taught elementary PE for 4 years and am beginning my 10th year here at the middle school. I am currently teaching Outdoor Education on the 6th grade campus and coach 7th/8th grade Girl's Basketball and Track. I love all things outdoors and can be found many weekends in the hills of Newton County at my family cabin or paddling the river. I have two children, three spoiled dogs, and three nieces that keep me busy. When not at school, look for the colorful hammock or the yellow kayak, and that's where you will find me!
