The first day of May we celebrated our principal, Ms. Cassell. Ms. Cassell has been our devoted principal here at Xavier since September 2022. Thank you for making our school run great and for being an amazing leader in our building!

From May 12th-14th Students in grade 6 have been having field trips to the Deer Lake Powerhouse to learn about the building and how it functions. Enjoy some photos of the students taking part in this excellent learning experience!

School Speak Off
School Speak Off
May 21st we had students perform for the speak off. We congratulate everyone who took the time to prepare and participate. It was great to witness such confident and proud students perform in front of the student body.
We also wish to congratulate our winners who will be advancing to the next round at the Lion's Club! Good Luck!
A big thank you to Mrs. Anstey for taking on the preparation of this event and for our two judges for coming out to our school!

With the helpful guidance of Ms. Hewitt and Mr. Penney, Xavier Junior High is thrilled to announce a brand-new fundraiser to revamp our Learning Commons.
To help update this space for our students, the school is currently accepting donations of:
Young Adult (YA) books (in good condition)
Board Games
Other Educational/ Recreational Items suitable for junior high
If you would prefer to support us online, we have also created an Amazon Wishlist featuring specific items that would perfectly complement the space. The Wishlist can be found here.
We truly appreciate everyone who has already donated or purchased items. It takes a community to raise a school, and the XJH community always shows up.
