St. Francis of Assisi is in the heart of Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove and has a rich history of academics, athletics, and arts.
We are a Kindergarten to Grade 6 English stream school with a population of 188 students and 20 staff.

Important Dates
December 1- OPTIS opens for bookings at 9:00 a.m.
December 1-5- Christmas food drive for the Northeast Avalon Food Bank
December 2- Report cards go home via students and pizza lunch
December 4- Family Teacher Conferences; student dismissal at 11:25 a.m.
December 11 - Christmas Concert- 12:30 p.m. Matinee and 6:30 p.m. Evening
December 12 - PL Day (No School for Students)
December 15 - Elementary Choir Performance at the Delta Hotel
December 16 - Grade 3,4,5,6 Field Trip to the Rooms (“House of Wooden Santa’s”)
December 19 - Last day of school before Christmas break and Picture Retake Day
January 5 - Classes Resume after Christmas break
March 4 - Grade 4 Immunizations
April 24 - Grade 6 Immunizations
Buses will run for students from Grades 1-6 on the first day of school. Kindergarten riders will start on Monday, September 8.
