At the end of this lesson, your students will be able to join breakout rooms during a Meet.
During a Google Meet, your teacher may create Breakout rooms so you can continue your Meet in smaller groups. When your teacher places you in a breakout room, you will receive a notification. You must must click Join in order to be placed in the breakout room.
Once you have joined a breakout room, you will see a banner at the top of the Meet. In the banner, there are two options: Ask for help and Return to main call. The banner may also include a countdown clock.
Clicking Ask for help will notify the teacher that they should join your breakout room.
Clicking Return to main call will cause you to leave your breakout room and re-join the main Google Meet.
Now, create a breakout room for students to join while in Google Meet.
