Human Dynamics

Students will have the opportunity to explore how families operate as an ecosystem and contribute and connect to the larger global ecosystem. There is a focus on the nature of personal and interpersonal skills as they apply to group dynamics and personal development at home, at school and in the labour market.

During this course students are required to take home the RealCare Infant Baby Simulator. This smart baby uses wireless programming to track and report on caregiver behaviours, including care events, mishandling actions, time in a car seat, and clothing changes.

Human Dynamics is a project-based learning course with no tests/midterms/final exam. Throughout the year, there will be a variety of assignments for students to complete. Students will be required to complete these assignments during class and submit them on the due date. Gander Collegiate’s Academic Policy will be followed with regards to late submissions.
