Engagement Ring

This is a gold engagement ring. It was first worn by Emma Cranford. Unfortunately, the stone that was there has been lost. After Hilda Higdon's 16th birthday, the ring was given to her. The ring was remade when given to Hilda Higdon to accommodate the missing stone. On the front of the ring it is written mother and inside the initials of Hilda Cranford.

The ring has since been passed on to Elaine Hammond and Lynn Hammond. Once Madeline Salter turns 16, she will also receive the ring. It is an important artifact, because it has been passed down through several generations, and it has a lot of sentimental value in my family.
