The activities are designed to bring movement and healthy practices to classrooms that may find students in one classroom space for extended periods of time. We were thinking particularly of many of our grade 7 - 9 students who find themselves in a cohort and assigned to one room. Students do not have the benefit of movement as they would have when switching rooms between each class and so we thought that teachers could use some support in finding engaging ways to encourage movement and activity.
