Curriculum Overview

Core French 2200 is designed for students, who have completed intermediate and/or French 1200, to experience success at second language learning. The course provides students with the opportunity to consolidate and continue to enhance their second language skills at the senior high level. The focus of learning is the purposeful use of language to perform real life tasks through listening speaking reading and writing. Language and culture are intertwined in French 3200 therefore; socio-cultural and linguistic goals are interrelated throughout the course.

The following themes are explored in Core French 2200 :

• Music; 

• Visual Arts; Dance and Movement; 

• Drama, Theatre

• and Cinema.
