Exciting News!

Did you know that Baltimore is taking proactive steps to encourage career development in our students? We understand that students in rural areas often miss out on valuable presentations about professional growth opportunities. That's why we've built a small team consisting of some school staff and local parents to reach out to external contacts who can inspire and guide our students.

We are thrilled that almost all of our presenters are Baltimore alumni! These remarkable individuals come from diverse industries, including medical, aquaculture, construction, oil and gas, and many more. They have graciously offered their time and expertise to help our students explore the many opportunities available to them. It's incredible to witness the range of possibilities that exist, proving that living in a smaller area should never hinder our ambitions.

A special shout-out to Janice Duggan!

Janice spent some time with our career classes via google meet. Janice, a proud graduate of Baltimore just 15 short years ago in 2008, has gone on to achieve remarkable success in her field. She completed her Marine Environmental Technology diploma studies at the Marine Institute, and after graduation, she relocated to Milltown, where she has been residing happily with her wonderful husband and daughter ever since. Janice's passion for learning allowed her to pursue higher education, earning a Bachelor of Technology and a Master's in Aquaculture Management. Today, she is currently the Technical Supervisor for Cold Ocean Salmon (a company of Cooke).

Sending much appreciation to Janice and all the other presenters who generously dedicate their time to our wonderful school. Your commitment to our students' growth and success is truly inspiring.

A big congratulations to our Graduating Class today, as we celebrate all of their accomplishments today. Best of luck next year, and we are so proud of you all!
Congrats to our Grade 11 Boys and Girls Basketball Teams, who both won silver in their Provincial tournaments this past weekend. Photos for the Grade 11 Boys and Grade 11 Girls.
Junior Prom will be tomorrow. 3-4 will be K-6 and 7-9 will be Grades 7-11.

Christmas Concert- Dec. 14th @ 6:30 PM

Oct. 24th- Upcoming Events:

Thursday, October 27 - There will be Halloween Dances for all students: K - Grade 3 Dance will be from 3-4pm, Grade 4-6 Dance will be from 4-5pm and the Jr./Sr. High Dance will be from 7-9pm.

Monday, October 31 - The Haunted House and Costume Parade will take place. Parents are invited to attend the costume parade which begins at 1:50pm.
Tuesday, November 1 will be a Professional Development Day for staff, there will be no school for students.
Wednesday, November 2 will be Picture Retake Day along with Kindergarten Grad Pictures.
Thursday, November 10 will be our Annual Remembrance Day Assembly. The Assembly begins at 11am and parents are welcome to attend.
Thursday, November 10 will also be the Cap and Gown Ceremony for last year's Grads. Ceremony begins at 6:30 in the Gym.
Friday, November 11 is Remembrance Day and there is no school for students.
Friday, November 18 is a Professional Development Day for staff, there will be no school for students.
Thursday, November 24 is a Professional Learning Regional Closeout for our school, there is no school for students.
Thursday, December 1 is Parent/Teacher Interviews for all K-12 students and these interviews will take place in the school this year.
Thursday, December 1 is a Parent meeting for our upcoming Kinderstart students. Meeting begins at 6:30pm in the Kindergarten room.
Tuesday, December 14 will be the Christmas Concert for all students.
Thursday, December 15 will be the Annual Turkey Dinner for students and a visit from Santa Claus.
Wednesday, December 21 is the last day of school before the Christmas Break.
Tuesday, January 3 is the first day back from Christmas Break.
