ABOUT THE PORTRAIT OF A GRADUATE
ABOUT THE PORTRAIT OF A GRADUATE
In 2016 we began a journey to collaborate with stakeholders to draft the Portrait of a Graduate. The Portrait of a Graduate defines what skills and knowledge a student will possess upon completion of high school. It represents a multi-level plan to implement career and life objectives.

The Portrait of a Graduate works in concert with the division's scope and sequence and instructional framework to define a life-ready student. The five anchors in the Portrait of a New Kent Graduate go beyond the four C's: Communicator, Collaborator, Ethical and Global Steward, Creative & Critical Thinker, and Goal Directed and Resilient Individual.
