Technology & Engineering Teacher Training Forum

Thank you to everyone who attended the NJTEEA College Forum!

Please see the contact information below for each of the colleges and universities represented at the Technology & Engineering Teacher Training Forum.

There has never been a more important time to encourage students to consider becoming a Technology and Engineering teacher. For decades the profession has been in need of teachers but today it is even more important as people are retiring and there is not anyone coming out of teacher training programs to fill the jobs that are available. Recently, NJTEEA held a forum with seven universities in the region that offer Technology and Engineering teacher preparation programs. Each college and university is eager to work with NJTEEA and wants to assist the state of New Jersey in preparing teachers in our field. Use the information provided to help advise students where they could pursue Technology and Engineering teacher training. Many of the universities are willing to set up visits for students to see what their programs are all about. Contact the colleges for more information if you have some interested students.
