From World War - II, till recent events of Syrian Crisis and Rohingya persecution in Myanmar, we have been witnessing an Humanity crisis. By 2018, an unprecedented 70 million people around the world have be forced from home by conflict and persecution. Is this, the people of this world expect after a long transitions in political organisation ? Are Nations for people, or people for Nations ?
From the past, there are clear outcomes that arise from events of refugee crisis like Resource scarcity, Security Issues, Cultural Transitions, Identity Crisis, Psychological stress among society and so on. Even International Organisation like UN still unable to neutralize the issue and provide solution to above problems.
Firstly, resource scarcity include employment loss, environmental stress, economic stress, geographical stress and so on. But alternate solutions like resource credits from different countries must be made by stakeholders. Likewise for migration, state wise home quota reservations to educational institutions in India, strongly manifests the optimisation of resource allocation. But in positive perception, it can be seen as increasing population with optimal resource allocation, helps in maximising the economy. China and India are examples of demographic dividend led economies. However, an old age refugee is an odd one out.
Second, security of Nation solely depends on the administration of the Nation. More refugee leading to more burden on administration in scrutinizing the process of optimisation checks. However, probability of terror involvement should not become an obstacle to the opportunity of accomodating people in a Nation for increasing the economic growth with humanity. Thus reaping its benefits to people of that Nation.
Lastly, psychological preparedness, cultural transition, disease spread must not be seen as a voluntary problem but emerged with situational crisis. However native people perspective must also be taken into consideration by plebiscite or referendum for accepting such diverse cultural immigrants provided assistance in optimising resources.
On the whole, my argument of treating refugee as a threat to a Nation must be put down. Critical and rational thinking of Nations gives a good step in paving way towards Humanity.
