One Week Online Short Term Training Program on Research Basics - Explore, Assess and Test, BEAT 2023 is an attempt to provide an opportunity for the budding researchers to set their decisions right by providing a flavor of various topics from the bouquet of Research.

Being conducted jointly by the Department of Architecture and Planning & Electronics and Communication Engineering Department, BEAT 2023 intends to cater to the diverse population from Engineering, Sciences, Social Science, and other backgrounds. 

This program is being conducted under Continuing Education Program (CEP) by the National Institute of Technology Calicut, An Institute of National Importance under Ministry of Education, Government of India.

Background:

Transiting into the research field from the regular academics or industry is seen as a strenuous activity. Therefore, the idea of how to start with the research under the guidance of the experts from the industry and academics across the globe. This short term training program would benefit the new researchers who were yet to dive into the world of research and knowledge, this program would also be beneficial for the current researchers in order to update their current knowledge with the advancements in the research and its process. Further, this program will help in developing an understanding about building brand value as researcher. This program would also serve as a useful event for the academicians for exploring the new research styles This short term training programme is in general beneficial to UG, PG, PhD scholars, academicians, researchers and professionals, of any specialization.
