Thirty five years of experience in the faculty cadre of NIT Calicut. Produced Fourteen PhDs. More than 130 publications including forty three international journal papers. Number of ongoing funded research projects (Principal Investigator): Two. Completed three funded projects (co-investigator). Areas of Interest- Distributed Computing, Cloud Computing, Big Data Analytics, Software Engineering. Currently the Chief Project Manager of the Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Cities Project sponsored by the Ministry of Education, GoI, with a funding of Rupees Two crores. Heading(Chairperson) of two Multidisciplinary research centers of NIT Calicut- CITRA and CoE-AI
