This is my 17th year as a teacher, but my seventh year in Northwest ISD! I am excited to be full time at Hatfield Elementary again this year! I spent 10 years in Irving ISD teaching 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, 4th Grade, 5th Grade ESL and GT at various times. Almost half of that time was spent teaching in GT Self-Contained classrooms. That meant I taught all subjects to a room full of students who qualified as GT. I was a GT student growing up, so my passion has always been for GT students! Growing up in Duncanville GT was called GATE, so it seems I have come full circle as a GATES teacher in NISD!

My husband of 11 years Louis and I live in North Grapevine. We welcomed our daughter Sadie this June. We also have 3 sweet dogs Sasha & Sutton (Yorkies) and Snowball (Schnoodle) who keep us busy!
