A Proud Feeder of the Northwest High School Band
We are glad your student has chosen to become part of our music family! The band staff will work diligently to provide your child the best music education and we greatly appreciate your support. It is our belief that every student can benefit from musical training, which builds character, promotes teamwork, and enhances problem-solving skills. During the school year, this page will be updated regularly and emails will be sent home about upcoming events. These will include fundraisers, rehearsals, performances, clinics, contests, and all the band gossip. Frequently check this site for weekly assignments and contact the directors about any questions you may have.

Our performing groups
All first-year musicians start in Beginner Band. From here, they learn the necessary skills to advance one of our 7th/8th grade performing groups.
The Sub Non-Varsity performing ensemble at Pike MS. These band members will receive reinforcement of Beginner Band concepts and focus on Grade 1 literature.
The Non-Varsity performing ensemble at Pike MS. These band members are continuing their musical development and focusing on Grade 1 and Grade 2 literature.
The Varsity performing ensemble at Pike MS. These band members perform at every Pep Rally, school assembly, and compete at a state AND national level.
