What is NISD's iNvest2Learn?
Northwest ISD is committed to making sure our students continue to learn even while our buildings our closed. The iNvest2Learn site will post weekly lessons for our students and parents to access for each grade level and content area. Elementary teachers will also email these lessons each Sunday with personalized teaching points for their students. Secondary teachers will post these lessons in their class Moodle sites with their personalized teaching points.

Below are NISD's iNvest2Learn weekly activities. Teachers will supply specific details to support students with each week's lessons. If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher.

Most NISD digital tools and resources for students can be found in their personalized portal at portal.nisdtx.org.
Students can login to their portal using their district username and password.
Student username and password credentials will be initially issued to students as:
Username: firstname.lastname
Password: FL123456 (first and last initial; capitalized + Student ID#)
Portal works best on Chrome browser on a computer or Chromebook, but can also be used from ipads running iOS 11 and newer Android devices. Click on "Instructions for Portal Access" button below if you need additional help accessing the portal.

Beginning March 30 the lesson plans posted will indicate the work that is required to be turned in by students. Work is posted each Sunday and due the following Sunday to your classroom teacher.

Will this work be graded?
Required work that is completed and turned in to their classroom teacher will be graded. Students will receive feedback on their required work that is turned in.

Approved tools and resources located in the NISD portal have been reviewed by NISD employees. Their Privacy Policies and Terms & Conditions have been confirmed as following student privacy laws and guidelines. Additionally, many of our digital partners sign a comprehensive Data Sharing Agreement in order to better protect student data.

Yes, if you do not have the necessary technology to complete the student work, please contact your classroom teacher. They will help you get the needed materials.

NISD Portal QR QuickCards can be obtained for KG-2 students via their teacher. If the above credentials do not work for your student please contact your student's teacher for assistance.
