When an ePortfolio is initially created, viewing rights are set to private and the ePortfolio is only accessible to the creator of the site. There are many options such as making it available to only those in NISD, specific email addresses of guardians, and to anyone with the link. Part of being a digital citizen is understanding appropriate sharing rights. By the time students graduate from NISD, many open viewing rights and use it for college applications, scholarships, and field professionals.
