Station 6: Microscopic DNA
YOU NEED TO GO TO THE MICROSCOPE TABLE.
Do not take the microscope to your group's table.
Materials: Microscope & microscope slide with DNA
Review HOW TO USE A MICROSCOPE if needed.
Steps:
Look through the microscope & focus the lenses.
Write down the sequence of DNA that you see in the "original strand" box of your hand-out.
After, write the complementary strand on your hand-out as well.
Clean up!
Unfocus the microscope so the next group will have to use their skills to focus the lenses to see the DNA on the slide.
