Station 1: DoughNA
GO TO THE SUPPLY AREA AND GET A TRAY WITH PLAYDOH.
Materials: PlayDough / Modeling Clay (6 different colors), Plastic Knife & Plastic Tray.
Directions:
Look at the strand of DNA below.
Create a PlayDough version of the original strand shown. Be sure to color-code your model & fill in the colors you used in your key on your handout.
After you have made the original strand using your color-code, then you will create the complementary strand of DNA to create a double helix.
Fill in your handout accordingly.
Clean up!
Put away all materials and make sure you put the lids on tight.
