Greetings Families!
We are looking forward to a great week of celebrating teachers! Thank you for all of the sweet cards and affirmations that you and your students showered teachers with today. Teaching is a work of heart. The countless, unseen things teachers do for students above and beyond teaching curriculum is truly remarkable. In a time where there are several educators leaving the profession and rhetoric that takes away from the true heart of what teachers are doing daily for our kids and our future, it is so important to continue to be supportive and show appreciation.
Next week Tuesday, we have our Amazing Shake Grand Championship event! Eleven students who received top scores during the Amazing Shake moved on to the Grand Championship. The format for this event consists of going to Byron Nelson's Bistro and having lunch with some special guests! The skills our students are honing will continue to benefit them in being an excellent communicator and give them the confidence to connect with others very well. We are excited to announce our Grand Champion next week!
Enjoy a great week!
Always True Blue,
Amanda Bunch
