Greetings Families!

Next Friday is our big Amazing Shake Challenge! Please take a moment to watch the 2 minute video below to understand more about what our students have been working on and be able to visualize what the Challenge looks like. Our Amazing Shake Initiative has brought an important focus to soft skills that help students connect meaningfully with each other and adults. We are so proud of the progress of our students and look forward to celebrating them this Friday! If you are still interested in volunteering to be a challenge host, we would love to have you, please sign up below!

Amazing Shake Volunteer Sign Up- CLICK HEREWe are excited to host our 3rd Amazing Shake Competition! This is a great opportunity for our students to showcase the soft skills they have been practicing throughout the year. WE NEED YOU! We need willing volunteers to challenge our students in using those soft skills they've been practicing in class. As a volunteer, you will lead one of 5 challenges: a student interview, playing a board game, a coloring contest, a dining experience, or a phone call. Our parents last year left the competition arena so proud of our amazing students and excited to see how well they conducted themselves in their challenges. We are asking our volunteers to sign up for 1/2 of the day. Our parent volunteers have shared that they loved the experience and the time flew by. Thank you for considering supporting this exciting competition!

We ask that visitors sign up prior to arriving at school for lunch.

Visitors/Parents must sit at the tables on the Stage and may only have their child eating with them, no friends are permitted to join.

Counselors Corner

We have a lot of exciting things coming up. The Amazing shake is next week. We hope you will consider volunteering for this fun day.

We have decided to move the Parent cafe to Thursday, April 4th from 8:00-8:45. We hope that moving the time to the morning will help others be able to attend.

Mrs. Hill is partnering with Cook Children's to learn more about the brain and how the brain effects development.

Scholarship Committee

Beck PTA awards 2 scholarships to graduating seniors who attended Beck Elementary! We are seeking volunteer readers to review and score the scholarship applications. It's a real joy to serve on this committee and to read about the incredible students that our little bulldogs develop into!
