Greetings Families!

We had another great success at our Beckopoly event this year! I want to give a shout out to our Beckopoly Leaders responsible for making this such a great event. Thank you Linda Highfill, Milli Watson, Jennifer Falls and Kelly Allen! We are so grateful for all of the work you put in to such a fun and successful event for our students. To our community and teachers, thank you for coming out, manning booths, investing in our students and overall to support our students and their first experiences with Entrepreneurship. Cheers to a great event!

Our next event will be our Father Daughter Dance this Friday, February 9th. We have a great DJ lined up, fun treats and activities for our girls and their dads (or special uncle/grandfather, a male figure who is able to step in if needed). We are back at Byron Nelson in their Student Union. This was such a magical place to host in the past, I'm looking forward to being back. We hope you will be able to make it!

The weather is cold in the morning and usually pleasant enough not to have a jacket on for recess! Please help us get your child's extra layers back to them by writing their name (first and last please) in their jackets, sweatshirts, gloves, hats, etc. Our lost and found is accummulating clothing quickly! You are welcome to stop by anytime to look through the items.

Gift of Time for Teachers

Interested in seeing what your kiddo gets up to at lunch and recess?

Please click the image to review times that we could use your help covering teachers during lunch and recess times to provide additional time back during this busy school season. Bonus that you get to see your student during a fun part of the day AND help a teacher out!

Teacher Gift of Time- FebruaryWe need your help to give our teachers the gift of some extra time to catch up during a busy month for us! Please check your availability and see if you could cover one or two lunch or recess times and get to not only hang out with your kiddo but get to see that inside peak of your kiddos lunch and/or recess time. One of our grade-level teachers will be with you the whole time!

Amazing Shake VolunteerWe are excited to host our 3rd Amazing Shake Competition! This is a great opportunity for our students to showcase the soft skills they have been practicing throughout the year. WE NEED YOU! We need willing volunteers to challenge our students in using those soft skills they've been practicing in class. As a volunteer, you will lead one of 5 challenges: a student interview, playing a board game, a coloring contest, a dining experience, or a phone call. Our parents last year left the competition arena so proud of our amazing students and excited to see how well they conducted themselves in their challenges. We are asking our volunteers to sign up for 1/2 of the day. Our parent volunteers have shared that they loved the experience and the time flew by. Thank you for considering supporting this exciting competition!

Recess Weather Guidelines

With the Winter weather upon us, this is a reminder of our outside weather guidelines. Please ensure students are dressed appropriately for the temperatures.

We ask that visitors sign up prior to arriving at school for lunch.

Visitors/Parents must sit at the tables on the Stage and may only have their child eating with them, no friends are permitted to join.
