Greetings Families!
This is the time of year that seems to fly by, hang on to your seats as we are in fast forward to Spring. We have our 3rd-5th grade students taking Benchmarks over the next 3 weeks. On the benchmark dates we will be a closed campus for lunches as schedules can shift to accommodate testing needs.
We have some exciting things coming up! Open House is coming March 5th, your student will get to show off their learning for you in a student guided tour around their classrooms showing you what they have been up to this year. Save the date of April 5th for our Amazing Shake Challenge, we have been working on our soft skills, building those skills that promote positive interactions and connectedness among our students. We would love your help with leading a challenge station (very simple and we will give specific directions to set you up for success), please sign up for a slot below. We will be sending out information about Field Day after Spring Break, save the date for April 19th. All families welcome!

Join us on March 1 as we welcome community members into our classrooms to read to our students! Community members will be able to engage with the class and share why reading is important to them!
Each volunteer reader must have an active background check on file with the district.
We ask that visitors sign up prior to arriving at school for lunch.
Visitors/Parents must sit at the tables on the Stage and may only have their child eating with them, no friends are permitted to join.

Thank you to everyone who made Kindness week a huge success! We will continue to practice and develop strong kindness skills here at Beck! Please see our "caught being kind" board below.
This month we are disucssing our connections, specifically friendships. In K-2 we identified characteristics of a good friend. 3rd and 4th we are discussing healthy friendships, boundaries and peer pressure.
Our 5th grade students will be finishing up their course selection forms and entering them into HAC.
We hope to see you at our first Parent cafe tonight at 5:30 in the library!

- Under the cover photo at the top there are 3 collections for ease of finding your images. They are ordered as pictures were taken so if you took pictures toward the end of the event, scroll down a lot! NEW THIS YEAR - there is an image both with and without the banner label for you to choose which you like!
- To make a purchase click the shopping bag icon on any image and you'll see print, digital & package options. Digitals are emailed the same day. :)
- Watch the size and cropping selections if purchasing prints. You will see exactly how it will print on the last screen and can re-size there if needed.
- Most importantly the images will be available for purchase and download for THREE WEEKS. Please make sure you purchase & download your images within that time frame.
- Lastly, for security reasons the images are password protected. You will enter your email and then this password to get in: BeckDD24

Beck PTA awards 2 scholarships to graduating seniors who attended Beck Elementary! We are seeking volunteer readers to review and score the scholarship applications.
