We are headed to NISD's Agriculture Barn on November 13, 2023. Please return the permission slip. Students will eat lunch when we return to Beck around noon and will be able to order lunch from the cafeteria if needed.
This week, your child is coming home with a sample list to practice for our upcoming classroom spelling bee. The classroom spelling bee will be held the week of November 13-16. If your child would like to participate, they are encouraged to practice the words on the sample list. Winners of the classroom spelling be will then compete in the Beck spelling bee on December 8th.

If you need to change your child's transportation home from school on any day, you will need to email your child's teacher and fill out this google form. This will need to be completed by 2 pm the day of.

We will continue our study of nonfiction. We will take a closer look at narrative nonfiction, and also analyze the importance of text features and how they contribute to a reader's understanding of a text.
We will publish our nonfiction writing to share with others.

Students will construct and explain models of Earth's orbit around the sun and compare the orbits of Earth and the moon.
Students will identify the planets and other objects in Earth's solar system and name the planets in order from the sun.
