ROAD EXTRACTION FROM HIGH RESOLUTION SATELLITE IMAGES

To Demonstrate various Image processing operations me(Divy Modi) and my partner Manan Jain have selected an application of Image processing which is based on satellite images and we would be extracting the region containing roads from those satellite Images. To achieve the same we are following a particular series of sequential operations on Image using our algorithm(User defined Functions) as well as the Inbuilt function given by MATLAB. After that we have compared outputs obtained by User Defined Function and the Inbuilt function , hence completing an application of Image Processing which is road extraction and demonstrating some of the required image processing operations.
