Welcome to our  lab Webpage! We are a group of young explorers working at NIPER-Raebareli  whose sole aim to  find 'joy in finding'.  With the ultimate goal to develop new therapeutic  and diagnostic agents, we enjoy the journey that leads us to the making of new compounds with a potential to boost current healthcare . Not just limited to discovering chemical, physical, and biological properties  of the molecules we make, we also learn and master the art of manuscript writing and chemistry storytelling. 

Our group represents the geographical and cultural diversity of India with the presence of young minds from the east to the west to the north to the south. Currently, we are a mix of doctoral, masters and trainee students. The entry of doctoral students to our program is through the national level  NIPER-JEE entrance examination. Direct entry of doctoral students is also possible for those candidates who have qualified other national level tests such as CSIR/UGC NET-JRF, GATE etc. with agency sponsored valid fellowship term. Students with individual fellowships such as DST-INSPIRE can also join the laboratory through direct entry.

November 2023:  Sachin's paper gets accepted in ChemBioChem. This is the first publication of our group in this Journal.Link 

November 2023: Midhun's paper is accepted in The Journal of Physical Chemistry B and now available online. Link 

October 2023: Madhu Bala joins the lab as Ph.D student. Welcome Madhu to the group and best wishes for the doctoral studies!

September 2023: Vinit and Himanshu start their Ph.D Programs at NIPER-Hyderabad and NIPER-SAS Nagar respectively.

July 2023: First collaborative paper with IIT, Kanpur   (Prof. Santanu Bhattacharya) gets accepted in ACS Omega. Link 

June 2023:  Affan, Eden, Himanshu, Sonali, and Vinit submit their Master's thesis. Good luck folks!! 

May 2023:  Rajesh, the first full Ph.D student (start year 2019) of the lab submits his thesis. Rajesh heads to Industry (Macleods India Pvt. Ltd.) for his next venture.

April 2023:  Rajesh's paper gets accepted in ACS Applied Biomaterials. This is Rajesh's 1st 'first author' publication from the lab. Congratulations team!!Link 

January 2023.  Lachhman's paper gets accepted in JACS. First for the year and the  lab. Congratulations Lachhamn on his 1st first author publication!!Link
