Muhammad Afzal

My name is Muhammad Sameer Afzal. I am a Senior in Niles West High School. I have been in many different clubs and sports including: Science Olympiad, Mathematics Team, Scholastic Bowl Team, Robotics Team, Muslim Student Association, Ultimate Frisbee Club, the Junior Varsity Tennis Team and the WYSE Team. Some hobbies I have is reading books (fictional - scientific), going over advanced math topics, building robots, and creating/testing simulations. I am interested in different subjects, such as Calculus, Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, and the STEM course. My reason for specifically taking the STEM course is because I like science and math, and researching a topic of my desire has always been a goal in life. This is my third year of being in the STEM course, and I appreciate the ability to research a topic and to display the information I know and have learned.
