Question 2: What is the current status of Octopus in the SW?

Answer: Octopus is a research project in the UK that is aimed at progressive MS, for participants between the age of 25-70 with an EDSS between 4.0 to 8.0. Currently there are no recruiting sites in the South West, with the nearest sites being Cardiff and Southampton. The visits are 6-monthly, therefore if you feel travelling to these sites is possible twice a year, then do get in touch using the email address at the bottom of the page. If there is opportunity to bring Octopus to the South West this will be explored with information promoted via the South West MS research website.
