National Contract Value Review
The national contract value review process is a standardised approach to costing commercial research in the UK. It is was implemented 1 October 2022 and aims to increase transparency.

NCVR Process
1. Sponsor submits an interactive Costing Tool (iCT) in the Central Portfolio Management System (CPMS)
2. NIHR Co-ordinating Centre processes submission
3. Lead LCRN identifies study resource reviewer
4. Study resource reviewer works with sponsor
5. Sponsor releases iCT to participating sites
6. Participants sites complete local review
