The local and national Induction plan will help you understand the research process and how your role fits and will introduce you to the training and development opportunities that are available. It sets out the key areas of knowledge required and is focused on helping you during your initial period in post.

The competency framework is for all research staff and includes anyone who contributes to the work undertaken by site based clinical research teams. Its purpose is to define the knowledge, skills and attributes of research staff.
