Highlight of your time at Nightingale:
One of the highlights of my Nightingale experience has been being a part of the Upper School Dance Collective for all four years. I’ve always had a passion for dance and am so thankful to have been able to continue that passion in such a supportive and tight-knit community. The dance collective has helped me find my place at Nightingale and brought me a newfound confidence that I will take with me wherever I go.
What would you tell your younger Nightingale self:
I would tell my younger Nightingale self to make the most of every opportunity. Never be afraid to speak up and take risks, for there will always be people to support you every step of the way. Nightingale is one of the most encouraging environments you will ever encounter, so use that as an opportunity to grow and develop as a leader.
How has Nightingale educated your heart and mind?
Nightingale has allowed me to dive deep into my academic passions -- to not only take things as fact but to also question every step of the way. I’ve grown to be a more innovative thinker and challenge the status quo. But most importantly, with such a strong support system, Nightingale has taught me what it means to be a good person and friend.

Highlight of your time at Nightingale:
My time at Nightingale has been grounded in the kind of intellectual exploration that has truly helped me discover my unique path. However, what has made that exploration so special has been the connections I've made with teachers and peers along the way. This community can be credited with just how special my four years at Nightingale have been.
What would you tell your younger Nightingale self:
Don't worry too much about everything working out the way you think you want it to because you will make it work out the way that it is meant to.
How have truth, friendship and loyalty been a part of your time at Nightingale?
It isn't a coincidence that these three words comprise the Nightingale motto, for they are truly at the core of the Nightingale experience. Truth propels the academic endeavors of the community. Friendship brings everyone together to create the unique Nightingale community. Loyalty maintains everyone's commitment to Nightingale, both as a larger community and an academic environment.
How has Nightingale educated your heart and mind?
Every aspect of my time at Nightingale has been one that educated both my mind and my heart. The core reason for this lies in the Nightingale community. All of my academic endeavors created friendships that educated my heart, and all of my friendships have helped educate my mind.

Your message to the Nightingale Class of 2020:
You are not defined by where life takes you, but rather what you make of where you go.
Highlight of your time at Nightingale:
When I look back at my time at Nightingale, I will most fondly remember the small things: Chocolate Wednesdays, waving to Mr. Meury, Ms. Smith, and Ms. Jenkins each morning, Mr. Caputo's gushing about paintings at the beginning of every calculus class, Mr. Kearney's wit during Spectator meetings, and Dr. Dakouras writing an admired comment in his infamous book. I am incredibly grateful for these moments that have defined my Nightingale experience!
