Your message to the Nightingale Class of 2020:
I’m going to turn around one of these days and realize my high school class is running the world.
And to that I say: “And so it goes” -Kurt Vonnegut
Also, out of curiosity, who took the lollipop? I’d really like to know.
Xoxo and congrats to all!
Your message to the Nightingale Class of 2020:
It has been an absolute joy to get to know every single person in my grade during my time and Nightingale. Each and every person adds personality and uniqueness to our grade and I will miss everyone very much next year. Thank you for all the laughs, late nights studying, and for the community you all have fostered—I wouldn’t have wanted to spend my time in middle and upper school with any other group.
Any final, parting words?
Nightingale has nurtured curiosity in all aspects of my life. First, Nightingale established an amazing basic knowledge and foundation for growth in lower school. In middle and high school, my teachers have pushed me to think deeply and push the status quo. Through intellectual discussions inside and outside of the classroom, I have learned to never accept things as they are and always seek challenge. Nightingale has encouraged me to learn into change and rigorous questions. Over 12 years, my best friends have taught me to be a good listener and that I can learn something from everyone. I have fostered incredible friendships with some of the most brilliant and understanding people I've met. I cannot wait to see what my classmates accomplish in the future.
