In adherence to RA 9184, the Government Procurement Act, the majority of civil works of government projects are implemented through contract works. It is important to note that the attainment of the project objectives is highly dependent on the result of the delivery of services of the Project Consultants and the Contractors. Thus, the Contract Administration is necessary to administer the responsibilities of the awarded Contractors. This will ensure that all construction activities are well managed in consonance with approved plans and drawings and technical specifications. The document control during construction is needed to handle reporting of construction progress.
