Memorial Gravesites

The Memorial Graves, situated opposite the gazebo, are known as 'cenotaphs'—memorials marking a grave where the body is not present. These structures resemble traditional graves in both their markers and inscriptions. Cenotaphs often honor those who perished at sea, in war, or through circumstances that make recovery of their remains challenging.
